This Privacy Policy explains how JKMG Group (“JKMG”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information through this member portal and related services.

Sensitive Personal Information

We collect sensitive personal information, including Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, and financial account information, solely for payment processing, tax compliance, and fraud prevention. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those reasonably necessary to provide our services.

Information We Collect

• Account & identity: name, email, and authentication data, managed through our authentication provider.

• Applications: contact details, location, professional background, brokerage status, network and relationship information, references, and your background-check authorization.

• Referrals: information you submit about prospective buyers and sellers, including their name, email, phone, company, and deal parameters. You represent and warrant that you have the authority and any required consent to provide this information.

• Transactions: deal details, documents, and signing activity.

• Payments: tax and banking/payout information used to pay referral compensation.

• Usage & technical: log data, device/browser information, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

Information Provided by Third Parties

If your information is provided to us by a JKMG member as part of a referral, we may receive your contact information and limited details about a potential transaction. We use this information to contact you regarding the referral and our services. You may opt out of such communications at any time.

How We Use Information

We use personal information only for purposes reasonably necessary to operate the program; verify and onboard members; process referrals, transactions, and payouts; communicate with you; maintain security; and comply with legal obligations.

Service Providers

We share information with trusted service providers who process it only on our behalf and under contract, including providers for authentication, secure cloud storage, electronic signatures, workflow automation, email delivery, and an in-portal support assistant. These providers may process data outside your state or country.

How We Share

We do not sell your personal information. However, we may share personal information with transaction counterparties and partners as necessary to facilitate referrals and transactions. Under California law, such sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing,” and California residents have the right to opt out.

Retention

We retain personal information as follows:

Account and application data: duration of account plus up to 5 years after closure

Referral data: up to 2 years from last interaction, unless associated with a transaction

Transaction and deal records: up to 7 years

Payment and tax data (including W-9, EIN, SSN): up to 7 years

Background check information: up to 5 years where applicable

Communications and support records: up to 3 years

Marketing data: until opt-out or after 24 months of inactivity

Technical logs and analytics: 12–24 months

Cookies: as described in our Cookie Policy

We retain data no longer than necessary for its original purpose, unless required by law.

Security

We use administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the data. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Your Choices & Rights
